CYTOfast Plus is an innovative instrument from the CYTOfast System, developed by Hospitex International for processing liquid-phase cytology samples. Its thin-layer step-up method uses patented Nephelometric Smart Technology (NST) — an optical analysis performed directly through the collection vial to detect cellular concentration and define the ideal sample volume for monolayer preparation.

NST technology enables personalized cellularity via 8 setup maps or predefined volumes, optimizing the use of residual samples for further analysis. CYTOfast preparations are fully representative of the original sample, preserving diagnostic background material without obscuring cytological components, thanks to an intelligent processing algorithm.
