Hospitex International has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Menarini Diagnostics, the leading European distributor of IVD and pathology solutions.
Under this agreement, Menarini will distribute throughout the Italian market:
• FISH technologies manufactured in the US by Ikonisys, for second-level molecular diagnostics;
• The full Hospitex product portfolio, including liquid-based cytology, cell block technology, and rapid immunohistochemistry.
This integrated and complementary offering will enable anatomical pathology laboratories to access a comprehensive range of solutions – from morphological to molecular analysis.
The Italian market for cytology and cell block products is estimated at around €28 million annually. This partnership strategically positions Hospitex to capture a significant share within the next three years.
