Hospitex International, a company of the Aliko Scientific group, has been chosen among the leading Italian companies of the Study Tour Health, an important initiative promoted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) in collaboration with ICE Agency and in synergy with the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The event, held in Italy from September 22 to 26, 2025, involved an international delegation composed of representatives from the Ministries of Health of Thailand, the Philippines, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, as well as experts from the ADB itself, with the aim of creating new opportunities for international cooperation in the healthcare sector and strengthening dialogue with Italian industrial excellence. A Strategic Stop in Sesto Fiorentino
The official visit to Hospitex took place on September 24, 2025, at our headquarters in Sesto Fiorentino, the heart of the Tuscan biomedical district. On this occasion, international guests were able to get a close look at the advanced diagnostic solutions developed by Hospitex, appreciating their innovative value, efficiency, and global prevention-oriented vision.
Focus on Turnkey Labs, Digital Pathology, and Urine24
During the meeting, ample space was dedicated to the “Turnkey Labs” solutions that Hospitex is able to implement worldwide: turnkey Pathological Anatomy laboratories designed to meet the specific needs of local healthcare systems, particularly in emerging countries. We also presented our Digital Pathology platforms, which allow for rapid, centralized, and scalable reporting, even in contexts with low availability of specialized medical personnel.
Urine24 also generated great interest, our kit that enables mass screening for the early diagnosis of urinary tract cancers. A simple, scalable, and sustainable service that is proving to be a fundamental resource for promoting preventive health policies in oncology, particularly in contexts where structured public screening programs do not yet exist.
Visit to the Precision Cytology Laboratory
The delegation also visited our Precision Cytology Laboratory, located just below Hospitex’s offices, where they were able to observe firsthand the efficiency of our workflow, from sample preparation to final reporting, according to the most advanced standards of laboratory medicine.
